What is recruitment?
Recruitment is the process of meeting new people and learning about what Greek Life has to offer. Recruitment does not require a committment to join a sorority or fraternity, but rather it is an opportunity to make new friends, and create new connections.
When is recruitment?
Recruitment occurs at the beginning of each semester at BSU. The Fall semester is an Informal Recruitment period, where each sorority holds their own events. Our primary recruitment is Formal Recruitment period which occurs in the Spring semester, which is organized by the Panhellenic Council. The Panhellenic Council is the governing body of all of the sororities on Bridgewater's campus. Our chapter will be participating in Spring Recruitment and we hope to see you there!
Is there hazing?
There is ABSOLUTELY no hazing within Phi Sigma Sigma. Bridgewater State University has a very strict anti-hazing policy, which Phi Sigma Sigma abides to.
Where do I sign up?
We encourage all interested BSU women to sign up for Formal Spring Recruitment. Sign ups begin at the end of fall semester and the link will be available to register up until 24 hours prior to the start of recruitment. Check in on our Facebook Page or on the BSU National Panhellenic Recruitment Page for more information. We hope to see you at the start of recruitment!
